Creating a New Rate Card
Rate Cards define how clients are charged for warehouse services.
When creating a new client pricing agreement, you will typically create a new Rate Card or duplicate an existing one before making any required changes.
To create a new Rate Card:
Navigate to Finance → Rates
Select Create New Rate Card
Complete the required sections
Select Create Rate Card
A Rate Card can be as simple or as detailed as your pricing agreement requires.
General
The General section contains the basic information about the Rate Card.

Name
The display name of the Rate Card.
Examples:
Standard Pricing
Premium Fulfilment Pricing
2026 Client Rates
Notes
Internal notes used to explain the purpose of the Rate Card.
These notes are only visible within Pimento.
Subscription
The Subscription section is used when recurring fees need to be charged.

Frequency
Determines how often the charge occurs.
Examples:
Monthly
Quarterly
Annually
Amount
The recurring charge amount.
Common uses include:
Account management fees
Platform fees
Managed service charges

Do I need to complete every section?
No. Only complete the sections required for the pricing agreement.
Can I edit a Rate Card after creating it?
Yes. Rate Cards can be updated whenever required.
Can I include shipping rates?
Yes. Shipping rates are configured in the Shipping section.
Can fuel surcharges be added later?
Yes. Fuel surcharges can be added or updated at any time.
